"Getting a PhD is like getting a tattoo . . .

It hurts like heck, and it changes you forever."

​The good news is that it's possible to do it in a way where you feel changed in an amazingly good way, and not horribly scarred with a misspelled tattoo.  It might be hard to believe right now, but getting a Ph.D. can really be one of the biggest highlights in a very wonderful life for you.   

If there are questions you've been wrestling with, let us know.  Many have blazed that same trail before.  Hopefully this website will give you some some ideas and tools that will help you blaze your own trail to wherever you want to go.
