​Henry Kissinger is sometimes attributed to having said  this when he was the U.S. Secretary of State.  Like Einstein at the patent office, he was a great example of an independent scholar: Forever curious, engaged, and making a unique impact without needing to have a 10-0 vote on it.

Whether you are transitioning in or out, building your own community, or trying to find and hone your own unique super power, this community can hopefully help.  Let us know what would be useful.  There's a lot of people  with experiences, insights, and tools that might be of use -- regardless of whether you are in the Patent Office, Oval Office, or your office.
